Bill, where the heck do you get it from? I'm laughing and I hardly know why I am. But that's the talent you've got. I'm still chuckling. Well done. All the best. Ulla:))

Smart move, when you encounter a zombie, his intelligence is not important. If he is a zombie the best thing for you to do is to run in the opposite direction as fast as you can. Pass go and stop to collect two hundred dollars only if there is time, otherwise keep running.

Since this drawing was so bad, I figured I couldn't make it worse.

"gararg arg arga," ... Zombir jargon ... creative. Sort of grim/funny-amusing.
Hi Bill,
I'm not an expert on tanka, so I'm probably not the best person to review this post.
As for the theme .. a zombie geek ... interesting!
I sort of 'heard' the words in my head as I read. This could be a grim, graveyard-kindergarten sort of performance piece, you know (spoken as a one[-time elementary school teacher who often did choral productions of Seuss!)
Good one!

I enjoyed this tanka poem. I can see why everyone ran for their lives. Poor Zombie geek. He was only looking for his arm. I'm glad he was able to find it. Too bad his language wasn't understood.
