This is a witty poem about the pitfalls of the English language. It is a hard language to learn to write even if it is your first. There are so many words that sound the same but are spelled differenely. The word orange is a strnage one. There are also words but that are spelled the same but mean different things if you stress a different syllable.
If syringe is a possible slant rhyme, than so is impinge or maybe porridge.
