This is a good entry for the Rhyming Alliterisen poem contest. All syllables and rhymes are in check with this fine description on seven sister stars poem.
- holding hands across the sky - I love this line. Great job! Best of luck in the competition. ~DD

Thanks for the encouraging review DD. I love the fact that these stars can be seen everywhere around the world and the different stories/cultures that give their own version of how these sisters came to be. The American Indian one I love best. Cheers, j

I really loved how you wove this wonderful poem together. I have always loved astronomy, constellations, and th night sky. You gave these sisters a wonderful personification, and left the reader with a warm sense of protection knowing that they are always there, watching us and holding hands.
Very well written , intriguing and beguiling.

Blessings,

Brother Badger

Thanks for the encouraging review brother badger. I spent 3 years sailing charter (key largo to bahamas) and loved the night sailing. I would choose a cluster of stars to guide me for 20 minutes then choose another as I lay back in the cockpit surrounded by the sea and stars, magical memories. I like the facrt that the seven sisters can be seen everywhere and different cultures have their own version of how the sisters came to be. I especially love the American Native Indian version. Cheers, j
