Ah, that Abby is a smart cookie! It sounds like a great idea and hopefully, it means that no one will get killed either. I am glad that the men in the group, like Paul, admires their woman leader! That's a rare situation!

The human angle takes on a different form in a chapter devoted entirely to the heist without any domesticity. Paul is human because intellectually he is just not on the same wavelength as Abby. This is a well known liteary device that enables things to be explained to the less intelligent characters while actually revealing it to us thick readers. Dr Watson was several steps down the IQ ladder from Sherlock Homes as all the famous leterary sidekicks are behind the brilliant protagonist.

Wow, I do declare (and I am not a southern belle lol) sometimes I am amazed at what you share. I actually love Sherlock Homes and Dr Watson and often have thought that despite the fact that Watson was an educated doctor his mind just did not think the same as Sherlock. Chapter Six.
"Okay Paul, for now you will be the only one who knows the basics of the job. We are going to shock the truck. I guess the better word would be electrocute the damn thing, which will ultimately stun the driver and shotgun rider. Your job will be our protection."
*** I'm not up on the laws. Some vehicles like fuel trucks have to be grounded but do armored cars? If not, they'd also have ground the vehicle. Rubber tires don't conduct electricity.
It got me thinking that there had to be a way to break into that truck or any truck."
*** Still, even if successful, they'd have to get inside the truck.
I ruled out fire because it would take too long for it to burn enough to cancel out the computer so the doors would open.
*** Knocking out the computer might not unlock the doors, only needing handles from inside. Still not in.
I see no grammar errors but hope you did your homework on electricity and the truck, he-he.

Yepper, Abby is one brainy lady. I think it is more of the fact that I am switching characters that makes me shorten up a little; but trust me my mind and my fingers want to keep on keeping on. I will post 7 and 8 tomorrow which will be the 3rd for me. I will give myself a break for the weekend lol and just check in but not post.... maybe, who knows lol. Luv U

Awww go ahead and make me blush, it may sound amazing but I actually have the 'shock' planned out and am building the story around that. Nope, I have not and will not try it or any part of it- I have had my share of electricity, but I have check with expert electricians and they say it will work - mind you I didn't divulge all the details - just asked great questions like What if or What would happen if? LOL

My car stopped functioning because the earth clamp fell off the battery the other day, rendering all electrical things stone dead. But well done, good characters and plot, blessings, Roy
