This splendid and aptly illustrated fantasy voyage into a a sea of discreet heat is deeply heart-stirring, vividly expressed, and delightful to read. Few love poems (besides some others of yours) even come close to the emotional effect this has. Your totally unabashed wording without a single step across the line of propriety is masterful. Stanza three is the peak of it, and I read it with "Kaleidoscope eyes" (stanza 4, line 1).... This truly represents love "from cosmos to Neptune's abyss." Superb.

You are welcome, Susan. I recognize good work, and know what I like. Your talent is obvious (and not just to me), and I love these "discreet heat" poems you write. They make the old-time love poems about red lips and fair skin look pale, no matter how skillfully written they were; and they make today's overly explicit poems look unnecessarily excessive. That is not an easy tightrope to walk, but you do it more than well. Your choice of words (including uncommon ones) and the way you string them together is icing on that already delicious cake. -- Mike

This is a well-written piece of poetic art. It reads very smoothly from line to line and it uses some very good wording in its thoughts. This was everything an excellent piece of poetry should be. I enjoyed reading and writing this response for it... John

I loved that line best of all and it took a lot of deciding because it is totally wonderfully written. I admire the double rhymne that I cant seem to masteer
