Mesmerizing and electrifying verse-age, Dear Susan!
You've truly been gifted a treasure trove of thoughts, feelings, creativeness, and imagination few others (if any) possess in such a way that fills the mind, heart, and spirit with wonderment, desire, and all the wishes and fantasies romance and sensuality can bring to a reader's wonderment and warmest, most roused satisfaction.
In sheer, magical metaphor, your tale of two lovers is rendered in such a way there is no doubt, whatsoever, they've found and embraced one another, and are swimming and dancing, sailing and floating in and upon their own blissful ocean of dreams.
No one's pen I know writes of love, romance, and sweet sensuality more purely, openly, alluring, or fascinating in poetic voice, flow, meter, and rhyme, than does Yours.
A hug of sincere warmth and gratitude to you, Dear Lady-Poet, for enthralling us once again with your amazingly beautiful heart and soul ... you are truly a star ð??? ~ Richard

Good poem with a good picture to make it complete. Good rhyming, and word flow as you relate love in life to a ride on a big ship. Good job of telling about this love story in a little different way than usual.

Susan, I wish that I could give you 10+. This is so outstanding as you are getting better with each poem you compose. In my profound estimation, I realize you have less then a year of writing experience, so I am going to run you as a wordsmith. You qualify because of your use of words that many people on this site stumble with. The way you move words around is flawless. I joined FS in '08 and was dubbed a wordsmith in 2009. I could do exactly what you do. Be proud of who you are and what you are becoming. I'm very proud of you, Susan, truly proud!!
Now, for these six stars that your poem certainly deserves. From start to finish you provide a poem which gives us so much imagery on the journey you and lover are taking. On a ship across the sea. beautiful photo enhances your lovely poem. i'm not familiar with the rhyming scheme and it it difficult to sustain for me while reading the poem -- but this doesn't take away from your lovely sentiment and the poetic imagery.
