This limerick, This Wall, is funny and timely. I think the beat in the poem could be improved and still stay on message.

A border wall, what will it matter?
or is it just some senseless smatter?
Oh Donald J Trump,
you stubborn old stump.
They will just use longer ladders.

Limericks are difficult to get right.

So you leave your front door open, do you? Yes, that and other things--biometrics, will matter. Come in, but come in legally. That's not too much for any country to ask of those who sincerely want to become new immigrants. Trump may be stubborn, but he's smart, too. Let's see how he keeps his commitment. Thanks for the review. I agree with you about the biometrics, but he is doing it the wrong way. Spending billions to build a wall will not work, what about all the tunnels? White washing entire nations will not work either. Accepting refugees is a very difficult situation when your own people are struggling. I think we can agree that the world is a much different place from years ago. Canada has also been accepting many refugees and they blend well as they have for years. Lets see how this plays out, but it is a very difficult situation. Bless you, judester

The money spent on any facet of deterring illegal immigration is well worth it and will be recouped in the long run when you consider the billions spent from all states annual budget on education, law enforcement and apprehension, medical care, and other benefits that the American taxpayer is paying for. Come in legally, that's fine. Canada can do whatever it wishes. However, I think the true picture is Europe's open border policy where they have been so welcoming and are being bitten in the arse for their good heart. Don't forget, too, that Mexico has a wall and soldiers on its southern border to Central America--so that's rather hypocritical wouldn't you say. Just some thoughts on the matter. Trump is attempting to do what he promised. Now we have to let him do it.

I agree with you and to tighten the borders and make America strong again is timely. Stop giving money to Africa and rebuild the inner cities, the outdated schools and empower women on so many levels. I understand Trump's vision and I wish him the strength and cooperation to make America strong again, I really do.
Since 9/11, the world changed overnight and we cannot be so gracious and welcoming. I would love to sit down over coffee and really have a conversation with you. All the best, judester
