What a shame, June! I think you'd have a winner with this wonderful poem, even in a larger field, if not for the worthy entry that, at this writing, has a 16-vote lead, with 20 votes.

    It's all good. I'm happy people read and review. Winning is the cherry on top, but the ice cream sundae is still delicious without it. Thank you for your support.

Your poem is interesting and well-written. I like your subject and message when the moon and sun share a moment. It reminds me of when the moon and sun appear in the sky at the same time. It's amazing. I don't remember seeing that, as a child.
