What a brilliant and cute . Some may not find Snails cute but you have won me over here! A beautiful yet imaginative piece painted skillfully. Such a witty Tanka poem. The last two lines sum the poem up perfectly bringing us back to the beginning of the journey .kindest regards, Meia :)

I really like this tanka. I have to tell you that, according to REAL rules of tanka, that third line is supposed to act as a pivot line between the top 'haiku' and the bottom 'haiku', acting as the satori for each. If that makes sense. You've got it working beautifully as the satori for the bottom poem, but not so much for the top...

It probably won't matter in this contest, but to keep in mind for future contests? Thanks! And good luck!
