I believe that anything/anyone falling in would not survive the experience. Your 5-7-5 is well written and interesting. I'm sure many people have wondered about it. Last line is a gem. Marilyn

A most interesting, if not bizarre concept. It starts with a proclamation of the geyser's fairness or beauty. But it ends with a humorous remark. I don't know if this dichotomy of thoughts will fare well in the contest, but good luck.

That's a dangerous place in Yellowstone. It scares me less that quicksand, because at least if you get hurt... the body can be easily found. It can definitely burn more than the tushy. Good visual imagery created. Nice work.

This is a fun 5-7-5 poem for the contest entry. I don't think I would get too close to that upward hot shower myself. But it sure would be fun to see from a safe distance! Great contest entry, Good luck!

No geyser for me
Too much heated pressure
with no on off switch
Wouldn't mind seeing one from a distance but definitely no close ups
Good luck in the contest, Buck

Thank you, dear Linda, Geyers are a fabulous creation and such an awesome sight. In Yellowstone they are timed to the minute as to when they will 'spew' again. Love.. :-) Carolyn

LOL! It would burn more than your tush I think. This is a well penned contest entry with correct line and syllable count. It is both simple and eloquent in both form and construction. I wish you all the best in the judging and thank you very much for sharing it.

I've heard that animal skeletons are sometimes found? Is it that hot? Oh, my...I'd be walking by too. I know some places do have 'hot springs' though that you can dip into. Great 5-7-5, blessings...

New Zealand a place for thermal pools and geysers, they are situated in that "ring of fire" get som terrible earthquakes. Beautifully written Carolyn, having a rest from the intensity of fanstory for a while, just doing very little at the moment. Wise move staying clear of geysers. Blessings to you and Larry. Roy XXOO

Thank you, Roy. I can understand taking a rest.i had to make that decision to stay away awhile. Take care of yourself. I'm glad you like this simple poem. I am looking to contest for inspiration as m having difficulty getting going. :). I understand the intensity and the burn out that can follow. Much love to you and Elaine as well. :) Carolyn
