This-15 syllable Quinzaine asks a classic question -- would the one considered your captor let you go if you revealed that you are more than just the adoring, subservient person he thinks you are? Would he be caring enough to acknowledge that you have a right to be your true self and allow you to leave if you so choose or to stay under better terms if you prefer, or would he tighten his grip and become even more domineering and difficult to live with? You captured all that in just a few well-chosen words. The apt illustration is an excellent metaphor for baring your soul to reveal your true self.
