I remember in high school Spanish class (many years ago) seeing a film of an actual bull fight that had occurred in Spain. Unlike the Bugs Bunny cartoons' depiction of a bull fight being almost a dance with the cape keeping both players involved, that film was the first time my classmates and I learned that the bull is actually injured when the fight began. They tried to explain this was to "even' the fight--but I agree more with your detailed poem and sentiment. Thank you for sharing this emotionally-charged topic.

So sad. And all the watch should be treated like the poor helpless bull plus the matador. If they enjoy the sport of killing for killing they are mentally deranged. I tried to read this so as not to focus on the art. Your notes are informative. I pity those that enjoy this atrocity.

Thanks for your review and comments. Yes it is banned in a few places but is still going on in many parts of Spain. I wanted to highlight the cruelty of it so I took advantage of an Acrostic.

You aren't going to get an argument on this from me. I think your poem though does an excellent job of expressing what many feel in a "sport" that is just foreign on so many levels. Excellent job with your words in showing your emotion for this sport and shedding a light on it.
