Hi Mary Oh yes I do agree Bull fighting is cruel and I went to one in Saville with my husband in 1977 I was up cheering the bull with gusto until my husband said in a very terse voice 'Sit down' look around you as I had angered the Crowd who were obviously there to see the bull death and Cheers the matador . I thought it a very sad spectacle and would never go back to see another one. I canr understand how people can get any enjoyment from any sport ( well you can't call it that as sport is supposed be fair) that kills or maims animals like bull fighting cock fighting Yuk so when I see a Bull win and gores the matadore I secretely applaud the Bull. Sorry for my macabe thoughts. But your Acrostoc is Spot on cheers Christine

A well-written contest entry. I am surprised that they still allow bullfighting to continue anymore. It is gruesome and quite a gory seen. Perhaps it is because the bull has a chance to kill the matador.

The font you chose, even in white on the dark orange, was very difficult to read. I could not really enjoy this, as I was working to hard to focus and read what it said. I am sure you did a good job, but I had a lot of trouble reading it. Sarah

Hi thanks for your review and I appreciate your comments, I am sorry you found it difficult to read, I have checked it and I think it is fine.

I really had a hard time but not all fonts work on all computers and sometimes certain fonts are so close together, the letters that is, and/or so fancy it is hard to read. I took a lot of classes in Mass Communications learned about writing and posting on websites even learned how to create them, but I have forgotten more than I learned now. I did earn a BS in Mass Comm emphasis on Advertising and PR. I will also say I love using different types of fonts, I hate to stick with the boring same old same old ;) I am sure it was a great poem I just had trouble reading it. - The picture and colors were great I truly believe it was the font;) Sarah

A beautiful poem about an ugly spectacle. I can't believ that matadors are treated like rock stars, but then I can't believe that rock stars are treated like rock stars.

An excellent Acrostic about a barbaric practice. Sad that people find pleasure in watching this spectacle. 'Fighting this pre-weakened docile animal is not an art.' how true - it's disgusting. 'It's hard to believe in this civilized age a vicious, practice flourishes' - I sometimes wonder about our 'civilized age' - are we civilized - I question this.
