A well-written contest entry. the words flowed well line to line. The artwork and background color completed the poem well. Your words of good wishes and warning about fireworks were an interesting choice. Good luck in the contest.

This is a very good acrostic poem you have penned. You used very good descriptive wording and the art work you chose went well with your poem. Blessings, Teri

I'm afraid you lost me with the cryptic ending to your acrostic...
We will catch you?
We know who the culprits are?

I'm sorry, but I don't know and I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Resentfulness might help??

Steve

This is absolutely great! Your inspirational/motivational acrostic reads so smoothly, the reader can not even tell the poem is an acrostic. Personally, I think a well-written acrostic should not be forced and the ending words of each line should not lag. You avoided both in your poem.

Thank you sharing and a healthy new year to you as well.

Oh, what a beautiful presentation! I love that photograph, and I love the poem itself, too. There's just one thing - your first word of the title isn't spelled out -

"H-A-P-P-Y"

You want it to read like this:

Hope for
All here to have
Prosperity and
Pleasant memories of the old
Year

See what I mean? And then to be on the safe side, I would do the same thing with the word "and", because it is part of your title too. Like this:

All my wishes are for everyone
No one should be left to
Despair

Your other three words are perfect! (But goodness, you sure made yourself a lot of work, choosing such a long title. *smile*) Happy New Year to you and yours, and good luck in the contest!

The objective correlative of the poem is a reminiscence on good wishes for all in the New Year.

The work highlights the imperative interplay of good and bad in the year and the need for all to anchor with the good while rebuffing the incidence of evil through "resentfulness and punishment.

The work earns its texture through its strict compliance with specifications of Acrostic Poetry.

Excellent work! Bravo!

This meets the requirements of an Acrostic well. Your choice of framework is quite timely given the start of a New Year being upon us. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.
