Enjoyed the tongue-in-cheek humor of your poem (as the site limits everyone to only posting two works per day). You've accepted the gauntlet with grace and flair.
Fun read and great style how each line flows together, rather than seeming forced for the sank of the opening line's letter. Good luck in your quest.

A clever Acrostic on a topical subject. Good appropriate picture. Reading through it as a piece of prose it makes sense and not at all contrived to meet the challenge of an acrostic style poem. I wish you luck in both the acrostic contest and your race to the top LOL. Warm regards Dorothy

Hi Dorothy, Thanks for reading my poem I am pleased ypu thought it a worthy Acrostic and I doubt if I will get anywhere nearcthe top. I wrote this more for the fun of an Acrostic challenge but used the Ranking Race as my inspiration .I do appreciate your review and good luck message Cheers

I can relate to this challenge. Back in 2010, I got caught up in this challenge. When I realized that I was compromising quality for quantity I quit and left the site. I vowed not to get wrapped up in all that this year. I'll write at my own pace and give each story and chapter my best. For those who want to give it a go, I say good luck.

I can relate to this challenge. Back in 2010, I got caught up in this challenge. When I realized that I was compromising quality for quantity I quit and left the site. I vowed not to get wrapped up in all that this year. I'll write at my own pace and give each story and chapter my best. For those who want to give it a go, I say good luck.

Hi Michael, Thanks for your review,, and I thought it might me a fun look at this whole challenge. I doubt that I will be able to even post the required poems to get anywhere the top. Like you I would rather write for enjoyment than competition. This is supposed to me a tongue in cheek poem .. Plus I can't afford it LOL Cheers for a good year of writing anyway Cheers
