Thanks for a clever, New Year's Eve bedtime story, and teaching us how to say it in Dutch. At first, I thought it was a true story. We don't have fireworks on New Year, because it's usually too damp or rainy. Here's to a peaceful and healthy 2017- Joan

I understand how your dear old cat feels. Quite often if there's lots of noise going on they advise to put our pets away, they get terrified by fireworks, or thunder, or loud noise, dear boy, I'll bet he likes chicken, well done, Happy New Year, blessings, Roy

Suggestion: "I'm the village the fireworks started." (don't you mean IN the village?)
