This 3-5-3 senryu on love, Unconditional, takes us to the realm of both parent and critter. Parents connect with children and will always love them in spite of their actions. Pets find us acceptable and seek bonding no matter how we feel about ourselves. I don't know about cats though.

Yes I am. Only have one cat but I would forgive her any mischief, if she were so inclined, as she would me. That works both ways. lol

This meets the line and syllable requirements nicely. I wonder about the use of both "unconditional" and "regardless" as they pretty much mean the same thing and it might have more impact if the last word enhanced "unconditional". It is very well done all the same. I wish you the best in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.
