After reading your bio on your profile, I was able to see this poem in a new light. As someone who has also lost someone close to me, this poem is almost a sense of closure; that, somewhere along the line, it will be better and our loved ones will reach the 'Moondream'.

I enjoyed the beautiful philosophical poem. My favorite lines were the description of the different emotions:
"Understanding nods ~ her gift is that of Empathy.
Freedom from Judgment smiles ~ his gift is Acceptance of All.
Attentiveness stretches out her hands ~ Listening to another is her gift.

This is a beautiful piece filled with immense hope, dreams and fantasy! Sometimes, half-asleep, half-awake, these kinds of dreams are pure ecstasy! You have done such a wonderful piece incorporating your feelings into a phantasmagorical ride! The artwork paints the poem with such a wonderful visual of the cloud---the king of fantasy for me!

What a wonderful dream of the land of faerie and of a perfect world. I have alway wished to ride a unicorn. I wrote a poem called 'Pet of a Different Kind' long ago about having a unicorn for a pet.
Perfect artwork for this free verse poem that sadly brings us back to reality at the end.
