Interesting and realistic poem. I enjoyed reading it and it flows with a true message of what women struggle with everyday. Their weight. Thanks for sharing. Great artwork choice.

Thsnks again, AngelI I was lucky to find that illustration after a very long search on FanArt, and was about to give up.
I appreciate your comments!

A very well-written 2-4-2 poem. We can always dream to have a perfect body that can fit into a size two again. After a long day trying we have to give up the mission.

Yes, thats what happened to the woman in the illustration, but I'm not sure about the "again" part.
Thanks for your complimentary review, Sandra!
Enjoy the season in good health!

This is unique and cleverly satirical, additionally satirical with the accompanying photo. I like the bonus rhyme....gives pizazz to the voicing. Just one suggestion to use a cap on the second sentence:
I'm through!
m(M)e in booth with
size two.
or consider rephrasing to: In my booth
Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for your insightful review, RD - and your very welcome suggestions. I changed to a cap M immediately. I think it makes a big difference. "In my booth with size two" keeps the woman in there, but I see her as the illustration suggests to me, walking away, muttering her frustration, thinking "I got to lose another couple of #%%@! pounds!"
All the best!
