Bill,

Please forgive me for the late reply to your very kind review. My mother went home to Heaven on 12/21/21016, being a woman of faith I know she is free from pain and God has restored her memory. Yet it hurts to lose a loved one and I know she is now at peace. I know God will dry my tears soon. Very cute and amusing poem. Well done in a difficult form!

A couple things for your consideration:

How would...it's a hard climb... sound instead?

For the last line, how would something like...For penning a poem is not a crime... sound?

This is fun to read, and I like the content of the poem. I am aware that many folks put lots of money into selling their work. I am also aware of how hard it is to sell your work when you have no money to contribute. Reviewing is hard work and can be exhausting. I am so glad you remain calm and sublime through all of this. This monorhyme, Writing Poems, certainly keeps the requirement of end rhyme. I think the need to rhyme may have overshadowed a clearer meaning for your poem.

This is a fun poem to read out loud. I admire your use of rhyming words. "Still I pen.......review, it's hard to climb" is a true line I can relate to. You have a smooth poetic form and an almost musical feel to your words.

I like your attempt to pen a short pantomime -- the attempt to write something without saying a word is impossible to comprehend, but I like it, and your results from your attempt.
