"Eric Clapton" is an exceptionally well written and thought-provoking piece. This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. Music is indeed food for the soul.

duchess, I thank you tremendously for this exceptional review. I'm truly honored. We seem to share the love for music.

Fantastic acrostic--I haven't done one since 6th or 7th grade. This is very mature and well-developed. I enjoyed reading it.

-Great picture of Eric Clapton; I happen to like his music, as well.
-A good acrostic that captures some of his talent, like
"Rhythmic leads flow from the guitar, his
Imagination overtakes reality."
-He is a brilliant guitarist.
-Thanks for sharing.
-Ironically, I wrote an acrostic a while ago on "Stairway to Heaven." You can check it out in my portfolio if you want to.

The is a fine acrostic poem about Eric Clapton
One of best guitar players ever
from acoustic to electric
Saw him in concert many years ago, he's even better live
notes drift, float and fly
Loved him in Cream and other groups, but even better solo
Excellent picture to match excellent poem

RS, I saw him in concert as well, and watch many of his concerts on YouTube. He's simply magnificent and always has been. I'm sorry to hear that he is suffering a problem with his hands right now and it's hard for him to play the guitar...he must be going nuts!

Eric is a good one!
Fantastic pace to this poem.
"Imagination overtakes reality."
and
"Creation, sliding from a hundred guitars,"
Great imagery here.
A pleasure as always to read your work.

One of the icons of both song writing and the guitar itself.
Yep, this man, one of the proper legends of his time.
Hope to see this in that book.
My best wishes.

Luna,
I found your acrostic to be entertaining and enjoyable. Thanks for sharing! As far as your challenge goes - you should create a contest for musicians/bands and have people enter, then you can add a note about people pm-ing you with more if they'd like to submit them. Good luck!

Sounds like a good concert described in this acrostic. Eric Clapton is one of the best guitarists. I like some of his songs. I have never seen him live.
Keep writing

A wonderful acrostic. Eric Clapton certainly was in class all his own. You have written a fantastic poem, a great tribute really to his musical talent.
He was truly a musical genius.
"Creation, sliding from a hundred guitars,
Lovers of jamming and blues."
My favorite two lines.
