A poignant piece of writing. Time robs of our vitality and with it goes self-worth and worth to others. When I was young I wanted to be older. I didn't know it would be like this.

Very good blend in the use of a giraffe as the main vehicle to the idea of self humor. Yet it has this feeling of grace about it since the giraffe is so graceful. I guess this could also mean that there is a correlation between the image of a giraffe and the ability to take a joke. Nicely written. Thanks so much for sharing.
