I happened across this chapter and found it very interesting. There seems to be some intrigue going on here. I will now have to go back and read the previous parts.

I'm enjoying this story.
There is mystery involving Shana. What does she have?
I like the way you have developed your characters and the story is progressing nicely.

Well, I couldn't resist - I can't promise I'll keep up, but Barbara, you're off to a roaring start- this was great! I was charmed by Romeo, and intrigued by the Russians' visit. In fact, I can't wait to find out what's going on. Just one thing bothered me - how is it possible he would have the only black Jag in a city the size of New York? One of three, or one of 'a handful' or something, but only one sounds like a bit of a stretch, but maybe it's just me. I know when I visited NYC the amount of traffic was insane though. Surely among $$ folks... ?

I like this piece very much. I actually worked for a wealthy woman whose elevator went straight up to her apartment something I'd never seen before and was duly impressed. Actually I worked for more than a few rich folks who were mostly great to work with and interesting.
The Russians are looking for Shana who may or may not have been in the Jaguar and who obviously has a story to be told about her as Anderson is soon to surmise.

I found this chapter interesting, but
what surprised me and made me smile
was to substitute the clam chowder and
lobster for a baked potato. I love baked
potatoes but it's not better than lobster.
Good luck with your writing my friend.

Thank you for the kind review. True, but the Jewish can't eat lobster.

Another excellent post! Honestly, you are making it difficult to find anything to suggest as an improvement.
Shana seems a little passive here, but then she is out of her element and being chased, so maybe that is to be expected. And you did make this Andrew's chapter. Still, she could speak up a little more with Jane, rather than have Jane surmise everything.
I like that Andrew is showing some suspicion. He is going above and beyond by inviting her to stay overnight in his guest room. It is important not to make him to nice, too helpful.
Looking forward to the next section!

Aha! I am wondering whether this man, Drew is lying OR if the woman is up to something and he doesn't yet know what it is. Either way, this should prove interesting. *smile* I look forward to more! Thanks!

Very good chapter! Love the suspense when the Russian consulate came looking for Shana. I had three novels on Amazon, too, but I took them off because the format was awful. I have yet to work it, so I just left them off. Good luck with them!
