In the arid parts of the world, praising rain is the only way because it's so important. Nice subject and very real. It's something that is a horrible reality.

with exact 3-5-3 syllables to the form

Very interesting combination, rain dance and water, a village socked. Perhaps there's has been a draught and they dance to show appreciation. Don't know really but this is my feeling.
