Very nicely done, Portia. This is a "chilling" 3-5-3 contest entry, only in a much different and less horrific way than I'm accustomed to.
Now, if you're wondering how I could have possibly known that it was you who wrote this, just look at the color of your presentation.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that much out, heh-heh.
No tell-tale little swooshes at the bottom is the only difference.

Hahaha, you're more than welcome, Portia.
It's not just those two tiny tell-tale swooshes that always give you away, or the colorful and artsy presentation.
It's more the topic you choose to write about and the style you exhibit when doing so.
But, that's a good thing.

This poem brings a freshness to the 3-5-3- Water Contest. I like the approach you took to this contest. The mixture of water and snow brings iced water. I feel so cold just reading your poem. Also, you presented very visual imagery in this poem.
