I must admit I have not read earlier chapters, but this one was so much fun I must! It flowed very well, excellent rhyme and rhythm as well.

Thank you for taking us through this phantasmagoria. Gobbledegooks' ending chapter,(I have missed the preceding ones may be because I have not been coming to the site for quite some time) is a feast for the ears and an imaginative mind.Rhyme and rhythm flowed naturally with alliteration and onomatopoeia giving excellent drumbeats to the whimsical musical drama.Would be great for a children's productions.
Someone once told me (i don't remember if i read this somewhere)that if you can retain a bit of your childhood within you ,then you'd be always a happy man.
you obviously do.

Thank you, Sanku (See, still rhyming!)
Yes, I definitely have my inner child to thank for all of the poems in this series - and above all they ARE a feast for the ears.

Susan, thanks for the enthusiastic review. Sorry I didn't go into excruciating detail of the intricacies of Hilda's gown. Don't think it's in my male makeup!

I haven't read any previous material regarding the Gobbledegooks, but this poem flows with much imagination and imagery. Though I personally would have liked to see a few more commas added to such long lines to help me keep the beat, that is overall a small complaint, and not enough to deduct a star over. Excellent choice of words and an imaginative subject, well rendered . Thanks.

This is the first I have read of these, and fitting the ''Gobbledegooks'' yet every time I hear such, it reminds of Brooke. She would love this write. Fitting it is for any win and pleasure to read.
Good alliteration throughout with sustained and magical imagery.
Good write.
Best wishes,
RGstar

Thanks, Ray.
I am happy to say Brooke did always love these when she was still on site.

The rhyme and the rhythm are effortless and make this poem flow easily and smoothly as the story unfolds. The tone is lighthearted and fills the reader with a wonderful sense of amusement. The imagery is vivid and the characters loveable.

kiwisteveh,
Very nicely written work. Perfectly arranged & formatted. Good flow. Understandable. Well chosen words, colorful arrangement and wonderfully decorated thoughts. Very enchanted atmosphere.
There was no SPAG. No typos. No homophones. No problems at all.
I look forward to seeing you again.
Love you,
Oatmeal

-Nice image. I'm sorry this is the last Gobbledegooks episode. I enjoy them very much. They are very free-spirited and friendly, too.
-Wonderful poem with rhyme, meter, imagery, story, and imagination.
-I didn't want it to end, even though it is quite a happy ending.
-So many preparations, everyone's involved, even the monkeys and dragon!
-A couple of lines I like:
* "At two o'clock, twenty-two trumpets start singing,
A bevy of beautiful bells are a-ringing."
* "Her carriage is carved from a magical tree"
-This is my favorite verse:
"Magog, the Magician, he marries them fast,
By waving his wand with a magical blast..."
-A wonderful wedding. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story.
-Good luck in the contest.
-A little something special for the Gobbledegook wedding couple:

Pam, thanks for the great review and the kind thoughts about the Gobbledegooks. Wouldn't it be a wonderful world if everyone was this happy.
You never know, they may return one day. A couple of reviewers have suggested that Gobbledebabies would be nice!

You are very welcome for the review and comments, Steve. I had also thought of Gobbledebabies--great idea!

A marvelous ending, but sometimes endings are not so final
you just never know when a brainstorm may cause a revival!
A fabulous series, one and all,
if published, I think they'd be a spontaneous success
But finding an open minded publisher, that the rub
How many times have wonderful authors been turned down
These poems are fun, imaginative, educational
a simple trip to Gobbledegookland
It's there on the map, next to Never-Never-land
Exceptional is the word!
Will there be royal Gobbledechildren?

Thanks, RS.
Indeed, you never know. It's certainly and end-point in my mind, but a couple of other reviewers have suggested, just like you, that Rupert and Hilda should have Gobbledebabies...

Thanks for sharing your fun and entertaining poem that almost makes me want to sing and jump up and dance myself. Of course, I would croak like frog and probably slip and fall, which after all, is why I'm not a singer or a dancer. Great job, and good luck in the contest! :-)

Thank you!
Sounds like your singing and dancing skills are on a par with mine! Glad you got the urge, though. It is a happy poem (as are all the others in this series)
