Mary, you are a great and special lady. Your artistic gift is an absolute blessing to you, and those of us who see them. Difficult at best to rhyme, you did an awesome job. The pure truth, your sharing your pain...both brought tears.

Hi Loanna, I am so thrilled with your exceptional review, and wonderful comments. I have put most of my suffering behind me so no tears and can manage my pain well. I have since had another fusion in the neck and a hip replacement.

A very nice watercolor and poem to go along with it. I can't imagine how painful that would be and glad you could paint to take your mind off the pain and recovery process.

Thanks melB, I have since had a neck fusion and a hip replacement, so I had to learn to manage pain. I am not complaining, I am known as the bionic woman. Mary

The scene you painted is beautiful.
I know the pain can be debilitating, I'm so glad you had art and poetry to help you endure all you went through. The message I take from this is that great beauty can be born of even the worst pain. Thank you for sharing.

Good day to you Mary;
-you should be very proud of that painting as I commend you for such a great piece of artistry. Looks like a combination of watercolor and With a touch of acrylics or just a dash of acrylics. I sometimes use this combination. But I like the peaceful and innocent feel to this painting that you derive from using the proper colors and the movement of your perspective.
-You have a very uplifting and a hopeful piece of poetry that I enjoyed reading very much because of the positivity in your hopeful dreams of becoming better through action and not just lying around and moping. That is one of the best things to do to chase the devil off your back because he just loves to hone in on those who are moping and sad and twist their minds with evil thoughts and depression.
-Excellent writing skills and good rhythm helps your enjambment the flow fluidly throughout your writing without a syntactical break or even a hiccup. Smooth reading throughout.
-Thanks for sharing Mary and take care and have a good one, my friend. And I am looking forward to most of your artwork in the future And don't leave me too much and suspense. Chuckle!

Hi Alex I love your review you are so good at writing them I have already nominated you so I cannot do it again. My painting is a complete watercolor, although I do use acrylics in other paintings it depends on how the painting is developing. I am glad you like the poem. Mary

So perhaps the pain was a blessing in disguise, leading you to a purpose? I know your watercolors are gorgeous. I believe I saw one before. This is a lovely entry, blessings...

What a beautiful painting, Mary. I always said I would like to write something to one of your paintings. This is absolutely lovely.
How now the reason for its existence. You found a way to combat the mind...and good the fact, for it is more formidable than most that we have to deal with...and key to going forward.
A lovely write, my friend. Always with you in thought.
Keep doing what you do.

Hi Rg, thanks for the lovely compliment on my painting, and the great review on the poem. You know since I returned after 6 months I have no fans hardly I counted 10 of my fans who are not around. I like the challenge of the contests so I don't need fans for those.
Mary, If you send me your email I wll send some of my paintings

Wonderful poem expressing not only the power of art but rather our own mental fortitude. You were met with troubling circumstances and rather than conceding defeat, you embraced the creative self to manage your physical struggles. Superb rhyming and a necessary poem to give hope for those stuck in a personal dilemma
