You had me at snotty Bostonian accent...my mom grew up in Watertown, a Boston suburb. Though she didn't have a snotty bone in her body, I know the type well. Quite an interesting dialogue/conversation with humor peppered throughout it. My only suggestion would be to try a different font style when you bounce between characters, or even a color of font. Fun, witty read.

Snobby is the word I used, but it doesn't make a difference, does it?
I like your idea of using a different font for each character. Can that be done in a novel? The format I picked was the worst possible.

This is an interesting format focused entirely around a phone call between Russ and Maisel's receptionist/secretary who wants to take him to lunch. She says he's being considered to write a commercial. Maybe he's finally getting somewhere. This chapter is easier to follow because it stays on one theme. Marilyn

The conversation was perfectly clear except for this one line. "Don't you want to know what happened, Russ?" I thought it was Russ talking.
Other than that, it was very entertaining, fast-moving, and realistic. 8-)
