Mystery Poet,
Beautifully penned poem, very few words can say a lot. This poem really touches my heart as I too miss my grandmother. My mother is 91 years young but have no memories of who I am. It is very hard to see my mother who once was a very strong woman to become very frail and not aware of her surrounding. I miss her so... I cry as I pen, so I end by saying thank you and the very best to you in the contest. Blessings.....Portia

What a wonderful poem in memory of your grandmother. I enjoyed reading it and it flows well with sweet sentiment for her. I love your artwork choice. Pumpkin bread and tea sounds good and delicious.

I never enjoyed a grandmother relationship; mine died long before I was born, and the other lived across country. I'm making the most of sharing the joy they were denied with ny grandson.
Your poem evokes all the wonderful scents of a grandmother...baking and tea infusion.
