The haiku meets the requirements of the contest. The first two lines interconnect and contain the seasonal reference. The satoria is a very powerful message and can't be told often enough. I love the photo selected it really hammers the message home.

This is a very thoughtful poem. The feeling I get from reading this poem is that it shows you have compassion for others in need. This one has the satori about life on line 1 with a cut word. Line 2 and line 3 tell the story of what charity is. Perfect compact piece that expresses compassion for other. The illustration of Audrey Hepburn holding a helpless child effectively supports the brevity of this poetic style. Your poem meets all of the requirements of this entry. Audrey Hepburn, though she was a mega star, elegant movie actress, was very worldly of the welfare of those suffering children in the African nations. Best.
