The layout of thes two tetractys poems works like a reflection, and cleverly the meaning of your poem is similarly displayed. The actions in the first stanza are the cause of the effects in the second.

As a veteran, I can say without reservation that we must honor the fallen and never forget them.
But the true heroes in my mind are the families who must go on and struggle with these types of losses on a daily basis.

Not really holding view of nations conflicts but our living combat: us as soldiers serving and recalled by those alive. True statements either path one take: pleasing in thoughts of remembrance.
