This is a beautiful entry. In six lines you deliver serenely vivid imagery and a moment of peaceful release for the reader. I wish you all the best in the voting and thank you very much for sharing it.

This is a good description of the sea at night or a person with problem.
My only problem is you say the moon is out but also that the sun is warm.
This can't happen at the same time.

Good luck in the contest.

The accompanying image is the best rendition of the couple in the wave that I have so far seen, and your poem fits that scene well. However, there is no need for shame amid such beauty. Original sin was not sex. It was disobedience (of the command not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge). How about "The sun still shines warm upon me" for line four. Is this not a dream of love?

This is it lovely piece of poetry dear anonymous! The words flow free like a wave. Catching that wave is a meaningful metaphor.

Beautiful artwork along with the background color completed the poem well. A very nicely written contest entry. I think you completed the challenge of this contest quite well.

This six line poem is quite nice and effective. I love the visuals your words create. I love the flow of your words, like "a mighty wave." This poem is also a metaphor for sex, for a climax with its "Seawaters are rushing" line. Even the moon and sun reacts to a man's sex on a beach with a Birth of Venus type dream woman:

"The moon glances from
behind the steamy clouds -
The sun is shameful upon me"

There is relief and release, a given way, with your final lines at the culmination of sex.

Thank you for sharing. I wish you success in the contest.

A very well-written six line poem. The ocean is mighty and strong. The water never stops moving around. The waves are big and wash us out on the sand

It's really amazing how nature can quite often give us and answer to a question we are seeking for. Great presentation in this 6 line poetry contest, and an excellent entry in this contest, well done, good luck, blessings, Roy
