Excellent imagery of the seawater
and its surrounding environment
Solid use of alliteration with the "s" sounds
and very good bookends with the first line
seawater rushing and the last phrase, mighty waves

Wow...
This creates quite an image in the mind's eye, Anonymous Poet. It just goes to show what can be accomplished in shorter forms of poetry when one takes word economy very seriously, and makes every single word count.
The entire poem is composed using a wonderful melodic sound of "s", all throughout.
To think of a dream as a "mighty wave" is a beautifully conceived metaphor, as sometime the seas of life has a way of sweeping our dreams away like the tides of the ocean.
A very well written and thought out six line poem.

My guess is that this ekphrastic, that you came acrose the picture that inspired the poem rather than having the poem written and found the photo after. Whichever way round they go superbly well together.

This artwork is stunning, and your poem is just as amazing to accompany it. I have read it three times, I enjoy it so much. Your words create quite a picture, even without the artwork. I especially like "the moon glances from behind steamy clouds". You have said a lot in six lines.
