Your usual attention to detail that most writers would not include in their novel, but they're not you, and it is what makes up your novel. I don't mean that in a demeaning way. It's your "voice" and the reader has to accept it as different from theirs, or just about anyone else's.

Here are a few considerations:

to be closely followed by the secondary and thirdary characters. [Um ... Can I assume "thirdary" is a touch of whimsy?

I also included some details about their role in the story. [ ... about HIS/HER role in the story.]

when he learned of the separation. [I'd delete this since it's kinda redundant.]

All of them, if he's able. He's very thorough. [funny lines]
