Thanks for the review, too bad I only had 20 lines. I used to love chatting with people in airports and now people sit and scroll on their phones, totally oblivious to their surroundings and the experience .I once saw a line of 18 people, each one on their phone. One mother had a baby that was sucking on the arm rest, eww, as she scrolled her phone, involving herself in something obviously more important that her child getting some kind of funky disease, sigh. judester

You are so right. In restaurants, at every table you see the diners interacting with their phone, and not each other. you could strip down to naked and they would not notice.

Ha ha, oh, they would notice and instantly start filming. What makes me sad is you see something spontaneous like a flash mob or wildlife and people instantly put their phones to their face and start filming, instead of just enjoying that special moment in time with the people around them. I am not against filming, but it is better to really create that memory, the sights, sounds and emotion which is lost, because you are concentrating on focusing your phone. Bono from U2 invited the first row upon stage during a concert in Montreal (?!) and every kid had their phone and was filming it, every kid! Bono told one kid to just experience the moment, instead of trying to get a selfie. sigh, j

I feel a contest idea coming forward. Write a poem of X number of lines that focuses on how people abuse their phones esp in the company of others.

A very well-written poem. There is nothing like someone who makes an appointment to come visit you, and you go out of your way to accommodate them and they don't pitch. When you phone them to hear if they are still coming they come up with a lame excuse.
