Judester, this is really a very well-penned poem. Given the requirements of this form, I would say you have most definitely exceeded them. A great short piece with a very wonderful philosophical essence. Truly enjoyed. Well worthy of the six-star rating I have given it. Easy to see why it won! God bless and hugs, Susanne

Thanks for the review and sparkly stars. We cannot fight those lines, so may as well embrace them. Even women that do botox and face lifts actually just look less confident and accepting of their features..ironically, cheers, j

Thanks for that. We really cannot fight it, even with face lifts and botox, women just look less confident in themselves, ironically. Cheers, j

This is a very good contest entry you have penned. You used very good descriptive wording and very good imagery with the art work. Good luck in the contest! Teri

This is a very good entry into the 7-7-7 aging contest. The artwork is a great choice and the double meaning in the satori line is clever, I wish you luck in the contest Mary

Mystery Author,

Well done and well said. You have met all the qualifications of the writing prompt from what I can see.

Alliteration is nicely done. The picture goes very well with the words. Easy to read too.

Best of luck in the contest.

Thanks for the review. Getting wrinkles is just part of the wonderful life process and we should accept them with grace. Cheers, j

Absolutely. Good for you.

This is a perfect 7-7-7. Good rhyme, good alliteration, fits all the requirements.

The artwork is a great choice, too.

I really like this. 8-)

Thanks for the encouraging review and sparkly stars. Wrinkles and getting old are part of the life deal. I always feel sorry for women that cannot accept this with grace. Those face tucks and botox only make them look less genuine, ironically. Cheers, judester

They also come with experiencing life as you have lived through it daily.

Good alliteration used in this poem.

Should make for an interesting entry into this contest.

I could never understand why women do not see the beauty in these life lines. They give the face character. In one operation, they can be removed and botoxed, and their story is gone. Thanks for the review, cheers, j
