Yes I've noticed the same ones win over and over. I think they must be people who have the luxury of reviewing 12 hours daily 7 days a week. But, throughout my life I've noticed in all situations same people always win. It's like a psychological snow job makes voters follow what's becomes expected

AMEn or Oh me Sis. As believers I know there is some sort of discrimination against us too. However we are supposed to accept that I guess. You and I are not alone in our suspicions here.

Thanks Janet. Tom needs to bring some regulation in or his bread and butter is gonna break down. I proposed to another reviewer we need something like the rule that says the president of the USA cannot get in more than twice. I have enough reviewers to this particular poem that feel like I do that something will come undone eventually.

That is so true. I wonder if they really write tremendous reviews or just get nominated because of their name. The same ones to get the nod month after month. I don't know how many nominations the top reviewers get, but I know I get very few. Wish I knew what there secret is. Excellent rhyme in this, and states something that is a cause for concern. judi

Thanks Sis, some have gone on and on about this but I think the majority speaks volumes on it. I will propose the Awards system be set up the same as US President. Can't get it more than twice ha! What about that! Sharing my Siggy I Am allowed to use on Replies NOT reviews courtesy of Dean Kuch.

I've given up on hoping to win the reviewing reward and I do receive a few a month. I'm very precise. I offer encouragement, point out flaws, and drool over the ones that blow my mind.
"It seems the same ones win o'er and o'er." It is a trend and we all know it and acknowledge it expect the reoccurring winners,umps. Oh well, maybe the wining cycle will fall on you or me one day, but by that time will we care?

This brought a smile to my face. I assume it's written in jest - even if it's a slightly exasperated form of jest. Take heart, the only person that can't complain that someone else has won is the person who actually did win, and they're in a lonely place because they're one and the losers are many.

You need at least one nomination per day on average to get close to this one. I had thirty nominations recently in one month and got an honourable mention I think they called it. Winning this one is like a lot of the contests on the site largely a question of consistent popularity.
You've been around long enough -- longer than I have but it certainly takes time. I am Cat, for example, does great reviews but has never won. Because you can only nominate a person once in a month you need to impress a wide circle of people, so perhaps fan a few more and they may fan you back. And help people as much as possible. some will slap you round the face but most will thank you, and one day...

Thanks mate. I know it is a hard slog getting the accolades. But I have given up. People have defended themselves but most of us oldies know how the system works. All about 'clicks' we have em in churches and we have em in here too! Sharing Dean Kuch's Siggy he made me.

yes a good observation same here, now you come to mention it. SOmeone mentioned earlier today "It's not what you know but who you know" and it made me think of my Song/ POem I wrote about the same subject but to do with something erlse. Thanks for the great review.
