Sorry about Clarence I know you don't think so, but I believe he knows about this touching tribute. Dogs are a gift from God. Cats on the other hand, come from Satan.

= But, seeing them suffer so, when they can't tell you what hurts or is going on with them is difficult to watch.
= My dad had to put a couple of our dogs down when they and the neighbors dogs got in the sheep. NOT good.
= You made the right decision. You're right, too, it does change you.

You made me cry...really. I put down my 20 year-old-Katy and both Tony, her companion, and I still grieve her loss. But, just like you, she was in my arms when the light went out of her eyes and the shroud of death turned them into a milky white. I'm glad Clarence didn't die alone and you were strong enough to make a hard decision.
If you hadn't done a superb job, I wouldn't be crying.
