I feel the same way about clowns. Your poem reminds me of a trip my life and me took to Key West. There was a sweet performer with a snake and a parrot. He was charging people ten dollars too have there pictures taken with his pets. When my wife's turn came he placed the snake around her neck. Next he went and got the parrot. "Oh, no," my wife said. "I don't mind the snake, but I don't want that parrot on me."

So, I take it then that we can all safely assume that the phobia you have is acrophobia, or the dreaded fear of arachnids?
I guess it's out of the question then to even ask you if you'd like to come over and meet my cobalt blue tarantula, B.B. King? As you know, Mr. King has been touted as the King of Blues music. Hence, the name for my huge hairy blue spider.
My dogs love him. He's very hairy, although I wouldn't exactly use the word "cuddly" to describe his demeanor. Not after having observed him feeding on mice.
Oh well. Don't say I never tried, heh-heh...

This is a fun poem that does a great job of sharing your fears of spiders. Really, can't watch Spiderman (one word I think). Great job overall - you do a wonderful job of sharing your fears.

Thank you for the awesome review Michael. I had to research Spider-man's proper spelling. It is with a hyphen. Supposedly Stan Lee(Creator)used the hyphen so no one would confuse him with Superman.
