Absent from the body, at home with the Lord, Anonymous Poet. That's what Scripture tells us.
Good rhyming couplets with an emphasis on the importance of believing in the very One who gifted these mortal husks of dirt and clay we call our bodies their very soul and spirit. The One who breathed lives into our nostrils, and the One who pilots our vessel, should we allow it.
