This is something of a different interpretation. This is the rivers's song. quatrains of rhyming couplets of mixed meter that has a decidedly anapestic feel to it. It is good to see this meter being used for something other than comedy.

This is a beautiful faith based interpretation of the artwork. It flows wonderfully just like the river described. I think you did a superb job of updating the Psalm into a modern piece of poetic art. Nicely done and I thank you very much for sharing it.

It's funny I wrote the last 'picture this ' prompt in answer to that particular prompt, with Psalm 23 in mind, and nearly did again it to this one. A very well-written poem. The river seems still and quiet, but there must be times when it runs swiftly. The reflections of the surroundings are exquisite like a mirror.

This is a lovely poem, Carolyn, and a great take on the photo provided for the 'Picture This!' Photo Challenge Group. The rhyming is well done, and each quatrain features a fairly smooth flowing a,a,b,b rhyme scheme.
Good use of end rhymes as well.
My favorite stanza (which=, I felt, sums up the entirety of your composition quite well) is the following:
"Are you living a life that mirrors your soul
Do my waters reflect if you're timid or bold
Can you see in my waters a life that's well spent
Or things you've put off, full of empty intent?"
