Very well written. You really captured the feeling of this photo. Your words flowed together very well line to line combining and forming their own unique rhythm. They continued to combine as they send the message of the poem to the reader. Well done.

Carolyn... I popped in for a few minutes and saw you in my message box. I knew I had to read your post and so happy that I did.

Superb... My dear! Your well chosen words and theme touched my soul. I get so much of the bible by reading you. I miss reading your work. One day, "I'll be back", to quote Arnold Schw........er.

Be well... Johnny the Yankee Fan!

A part of the picture captures the soul
Unfolding a poem dear to the Lord
So the gift of reflection today
Brings all readers the delight to have prayed

Hi Carolyn,

What a beautiful poem you've written. Also the picture you posted with it is really great too. I loved reading it and also the Bible Verse from Psalms 23 that you posted. A wonderful job of writing my friend.

Outstanding poetry, Carolyn. Same as always in your writing. Lots of heart and soul very evident:

""Reflections in the waters of life are reserved
To remind us of His suffering and so undeserved
For you He's provided the waters of life
Seek the kingdom, love your neighbor, live without strife"

Bravo! Bob

Carolyn, this a an excellent interpretation for the picture challenge. You have written a very uplifting and spiritual piece that flowed as well and the story line. I particularly liked this line - "Are you living a life that mirrors your soul" - A very deep and reflective question and one that is important to ask. This is a most enjoyable and thoughtful poem. I hope you enjoy my 'simple' approach to the picture challenge as I have enjoyed reading yours. Warm regards ~DD

Another lovely addition to the Picture challenge. I really enjoy what you've done Carolyn, the reflections in the water reminding you of your faith and a life well spent.

Most beautiful indeed. :))
