A very well-written poem. Each have a special piece of clothing or jewellery they need to include in their dressing up. My birthstone is amethyst and I love the color purple.

A lovely entry and crystals do have healing properties. A lot of people wear a piece of jewelry that they have found brings them luck or blessings unexpected.

My Monica had me paint her bedroom "just purple." It is a rich amethyst color. I got her a yellow salt stone for a light to keep the air clean from Garden of the Gods.

I loved this! Amethyst is my birthstone, and is said to have calming properties, and purple is definitely a healing color, so the combination makes this semi-precious stone a very powerful gemstone. I wear a silver cross with an amethyst stone always - I take it off only to sleep, and even then, not always.
Your meter is perfect! Your rhyme is wonderful too, but it's the message itself that really makes ti jewel sparkle for me! :) Best of luck in the contest.
