This is a short but important thought the defines faith well. Having one word on each line gives equal import to all words. The all capitals shows that is the most import word and the central idea of faith.

I would welcome the opportunity to have a theological discussion with the Speaker in this poem. He/she could be speaking from a pulpit on a Sunday morning. The sermon does make the listener think hard about what he believes. Speaking only for myself, I would substitute "trust" for "confidence." A very subtle difference, I know, but . . .
