I liked your poem. The syllable count is perfect and the message is one that all dog lovers will appreciate. I enjoyed the last three lines: canoodle, cuddle, kiss. Quite playful!

I love the nonet poetry form as I have written nearly 1500 of these. This is an exceptional contest entry. This picture says it all about the message in this poem. I know the feeling to have the unconditional love of little dog. I miss *Little Girl* tremendously. She was killed July 14, 2013. I hope you will do well in this contest my friend,,,,,, Jimmy

Actually,1650, my book was written with nothing but nonets. 388 chapters with 4 nonets per chapter! You would enjoy reading the book. Each chapter has 180 syllables with you can read in ten minutes.
