I've only read a few Quinzaine Poems and this is the best by far. Super job with this and excellent entry for this contest. I a sure this is a top contender.

Interesting query and how the line break occurs so that the question "can you hear my words" seems to have a simple answer--"yes" and then the twist -- "unspoken" makes one ponder times when others have tried to express themselves but their messages weren't full understood. Very effective question posed that fits both this poem and life in general.

This follows the form well and should be a strong entry in the contest. It describes poetry or and other form of writing and what the writer wants his or her/his words to to.
Good luck and keep writing

Huh. I honestly think this is particularly brilliant. Yes, if you paint with words your thoughts become visible. I 'hear' them, 'see' them, FEEL them when you weave as you have done with this little gem. Good luck in the contest.

Wow. Nicely done. So few words, but speaks volumes.
I like reading between the lines. I like the way you help the reader feel more that what is heard. You invite the reader to feel emotion.
Thank you for posting.

You nailed it on the requirements and posed a great question to your statement. I enjoyed the contradiction of the statement and the question...If the conversation comes through the ink, then how can the other person hear what is unspoken? Nicely done.

Yes, I can hear the words unspoken.
I see the black of the picture-like background,
I think of white noise and lots of poise,
I read the words and look back,
Beautiful choice!

This is the crux of the writing process. Will I be able to communicate in few words what I wish the world to know? You accomplished in 15 syllables what whole books have been unable to do. Bravo

Yes, I can, so very deep! This poem is pretty cool, I love it when poems speaks volumes without using specific words of description, but rather implying meaning, using emotion and feeling. Thank you for sharing.
