Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

I like this, it is funny people do get caught up in taking selfies.

Each stanza have good rhyme though out.

Good luck in the contest.

Thanks for the review and sparkly stars. I often take people on safari in Tanzania and when we come accross something amazing the first thing they do is put the camera in front of their face instead of enjoying the total moment, cheers, j

True and I had read this before and thought it a great entry to the contest being held. It is vanity to do that I think. I so agree with this. Excellent.

I just read in Germany they are putting red warning lights, on the ground so people texting will not walk into trains. REALLY??!! I want to know what can possibly so interesting on those little screens. I bring people on wildlife safaris in Tanzania and when we see something truly amazing (not some kitten dancing) everyone put the phone in front of their face completely losing the experience, until they scroll later jeez, cheers, j

I enjoyed reading this entry into the "Funny but not funny" contest. People are so busy taking selfies that they fail to really enjoy themselves until they look back on the pictures. Never been one for the "selfie" craze. Good luck in the contest. God bless and hugs, Susanne

Thanks for the review. In Germany they have redlights on the ground now, so people texting do not walk into oncoming trains. What is so important and interesting on these phones that people are so absorbed? I take many people on wildlife safaris here in Tanzania and when we come upon something really cool and once in a lifetime, they all have their phones in their faces, not experiencing the whole experience,.....just seeing it through a 4x5 inch screen, sigh, cheers, j

Very good, I like this one, I don't get or understand the selfie craze, so much time taking their picture they miss what is happening around them. Good luck on this and have a great day

I take people on safari here in Tanzania and when they see something truly magnificient in the wild, they automatically have their camera in front of their faces. Take the moment in, the sounds, smells and energy and really impress it on yourself. I saw a video in Montreal where Bono from U2 invited all the kids in the front row (??) to join him onstage and every kid had their phones, focusing on the shot instead of truly experiencing that once in a lifetime event. Bono actally told one guy, ;hey just enjoy the moment' Thanks for the review, cheers, j.

Very well written. Yes, selfies are certainly something new and different. The world of smart cell phones have opened up a whole new way of life. Thank you for pointing this new trend out. Best wishes in the Not funny but funny contest.

Thanks for the review. People just miss the moment, fiddling with their phone instead of truly experiencing it.Oh yeah, they can always scroll later to remind them of that moment lost, cheers, j
