I love this story, I'm not sure that's true that they poke their little bottoms over the edge of the nest an poo, do you? But I believe you, thousands wouldn't! This is nicely written Ine, articulately scribed in an absorbing way and very hilarious, your clever dad. Well done, blessings, Roy

A very cute story that is very well told. A great tale to tell on Father's Day about a father educating his children about baby birds. The surprise ending made me laugh.

Hahahaha! G'day Ine. This is a very cute little bedtime story for a big overgrown kid like me. It was a lot of fun to read.
A couple of observations...
"A brown and a yellow bird land(ed) near the nest."
"By the end of the day they must be deadbeat.(dead beat.)"
Well done mate.
Cheers Fez

Yes, Ine. Pity our toileting has to be more complicated! LOL! Lovely story. Great use of dialogue. And ... don't Dads always tell the truth? Thanks for sharing and warmest regards, Marijke :o)

Nice story for children and especially learning that dad did not lie...they really do.
No problems noted except the word deadbeat. The roughness of it threw me off.
Nicely done

Aww, how cute. A great lesson for kids about the dedication of the parents to feed their young, and an even greater one about not standing under a nest. haha.
Great job,
Rhonda

Been there, done that too many times. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read. There is very good imagery.

Awww, that's sweet Ine. The bird did it over the side of the nest proving exactly what the father is saying. I liked this a lot. Thanks so much for sharing. All the best. Ulla:)))
