Chapters are just long enough. Not overly long to the point where the reader losses interest or too short. Both tipsy, Liz and Russ banter back and forth, which takes on a sexual innuendo near the end. Marilyn

Thanks for catching up. It was nice to read two good reviews in succession, especially by you.
I appreciate your compliments.
Thanks for the high ratings.
Looks like 964-968 pages is the magic number. I don't usually review a post much longer than that.
It's probably just me, but I don't see how a writer can expect a reviewer to read an exceptionally long post.
I shouldn't say anymore, in case I find the need to do the same.

Hi Bill. Here is my practice. I always have at least one book going to read a few pages at night. Short reads are where it's at for me. Too lengthy and I pass them by, even poetry. If it's said once well, it doesn't have to be said two or three times in the same piece. In poetry, though, some forms require repetition of certain lines. I think the length you mention is appropriate in prose. :) Marilyn

Thanks for reviewing this chapter. I appreciate your kind words.
Perhaps writers should be allowed to call their work whatever they want. I just started using the term, Rom/Com, in the author's notes.
Thanks for the five stars.

Excellent dialog, no confusion of who spoke what or who is speaking to whom. I honestly thought Russ a young man perhaps still in high school or just going into college, because of the way he speaks and appears to get tongue-tied; but I realized that's just how he speaks. I like the whole scene, it's well put together, concise and the characters are fun. Thank you so much for sharing your work!

I can't thank you enough for all your encouraging words and compliments.
You may not think this scene is so concise after I tell you it started in chapter 36.
Liz is 26, Russ is 25.
I look forward to sharing my work with you whenever you wish.
Thanks for the 5 stars.
