It is a commonplace to state that God is everywhere, but you have given it fresh meaning here in your listing of some of the places in our everyday lives where He can be seen and some of the emotional effects He can have upon us. A powerful poem of thanksgiving that shows deep insight.

This listing of the wonders of God's creations is excellent. Your descriptive phrases are well placed and the words flow in a natural easy rhythm. Great job!

I liked this very much! Nicely done. I particularly liked this verse:
He made the sunlight to help us see our way.
He gave us darkness so we could rest at night.
The poem was very calming and soothing. Thanks for sharing!

Dear Teri,
This is a beautiful prayer and entry for the contest.
Your purity of heart and all of the amazing mentions
of the gifts that God bestows upon us, from newborn
babies to plants and gardens and animals is so well
presented in this very pure and thankful prayer.
According to the Word. God turns His ears from the
proud and scornful, yet He is ever near the pure in heart.
Your poem and prayer is so pure and I know he hears you.

This free verse, God and Nature, is a grand litany of all that God has done to make our daily lives on the planet an experience. If there weren't a God, I would probably claim responsibility for all these things. My brother would be responsible for any bad things.

Yes, I'm sure that you have not listed all the things that God is responsible for, but by golly you have covered a great many of them. I'm afraid that if you were to write about all of them you might be writing for a very long time. Thanks for another fine poem. :-)

A very well-written poem, we can see God in everything around us. He is the Potter and we are His clay. He molded us to His will and work on us every day.
